New Vectors and a Tutorial From Go Media

The awesome folks at Go Media have released another great package of vector artwork. Vector Pack 11 has got some really great stuff (much better than #10…in my opinion). For those of you that don’t know about these vector packs they are fantastic and a must buy for anyone that is serious about design. This latest pack has some really great stuff that GrandmasterB will definitely be trying out.
- Hand Drawn Skulls
- Birds (vol.2)
- Type Explosions (very cool!)
- Suits (Silhouetted Men in Suits)
- Doodles
- Trees
- International Skylines
The key to creating cool and interesting artwork with these vectors is learning how to use items from each pack to make something completely new. In the header of my site I used three of the vectors from different packs and manipulated them to get the results I wanted.
If you want to see how the real masters do it you should check out the tutorial that Go Media published on Wednesday. The tutorial is a bit difficult to follow, but the pictures explain a lot about what’s going on. In the tutorial the artist creates a very cool T-Shirt design for a band (I’m not sure if it’s fictional or not) using only Go Media Vectors…very cool stuff.
One of these days GrandmasterB is going to have to come up with a limited edition t-shirt design to giveaway in a contest or something. This tutorial has definitely inspired me to create something insane.

That stuff takes a ton of time to create on your own. It’s well worth the small cost to get some quality artwork…especially if you can turn it into a profit.
