T-Shirt TemplatesSo you’ve been commissioned to come up with a killer t-shirt design for the hottest local band in town. After spending countless hours sketching out the design, scanning it and redrawing it in Illustrator you’re ready to give the proof to your client. You meet them at their local hangout to show them the proof, but they look at your with that “is this it?” look on their faces. Turns out they like your design, but they wanted to actually see what it would look like on a dark gray t-shirt. What do you do now?

Well, if you had the latest product from Go Media, you’d already know what to do. They have released a truly awesome resource for t-shirt designers which will allow them to create quick, photorealistic mockups of their t-shirt designs in just a few minutes. Instead of your clients wondering what your design will look like on a dark gray t-shirt or a baby blue t-shirt you can show them before spending hard earned money at the press.

T-Shirt Templates from Go Media

The cool thing is that the gang over at Go Media has created four different variations of the template in five different colors for a total of 20 templates. With the five supplied colors, designers will be able to customize the colors easily by using Photoshop’s Hue and Saturation adjustments to create an endless array of t-shirt colors. Each template has been split up into layers (with masks) so the only thing you’ll need to do is insert your design and scale it to fit. If you’re interested in seeing how to use the templates check out the tutorial that Dave has put together “How to Create Photorealistic T-Shirt Mockups“. You might remember Dave from his last tutorial that I linked to in my post New Vectors and a Tutorial From Go Media from June 05, 2008. Now the only thing that I want to know is when they’re going to sell the “Vomit Whistle” t-shirt. My co-worker and I love that design…Jeff?
