A few weeks ago Forest (TheRandomForest.com) had posted about getting together a small group that would stumble each others posts to build up traffic. I’m not sure what happened to the post as I was the only person willing to jump in the mix. Since then Forest, Jeff (BuzzMyBlog.com), Cuzzy (Cuzoogle.com) and myself have all gathered together and formed the base of the StumbleUpon Crusade group to help each other out. Basically, if you want us to check out your site post a comment and we’ll put you on the radar. Apparently, StumbleUpon frowns upon soliciting stumbles so we can’t have you asking us to stumble. But if you would like us to browse your latest posts we can do that…you get the picture.

If you’re interested in joining us in our “StumbleUpon Crusade”, simply comment here that you want in. Our only goal is helping each other by forming a small network of bloggers to make getting your blog noticed easier. We are not asking you to commit to anything just browse around and if you like what you see stumble it…if not no big deal. What do you think? My Monday could not have started of better…let me tell ya! Just two days removed from the two month anniversary of GrandmasterB dot com, I have been spotlighted as the winner of the Weekly Buzz contest on BuzzMyBlog. I have been reading Jeff’s blog for a long time now as most of my readers know and being featured as the Weekly Buzz winner is a great honor.

The 500 EntreCard credits that Jeff gives the weekly winner is a great prize, but the feature on a blog with a Google PageRank of 4 is like icing on the cake. I am very excited about the traffic that winning this week will bring. I could not have been chosen at a better time either. Jeff just had a great guest post published on ProBlogger yesterday and it is being well received by the community. If you haven’t read it yet, you should definitely give it a look.

In honor of winning the WeeklyBuzz and keeping with the theme of what the contest is all about I’m going to do something to show my gratitude. Yesterday I read a great post at BuzzMyBlog (How to Get a Higher Google PageRank) regarding the subtle nuances of the Google PageRank algorithm and decided to do a little investigating. Now I’m not one to complain, but I couldn’t figure out how Jeff’s site got a PR4 and I only managed a PR1. I know…I know, my site is still an infant at just a little over a month old, but there’s more to it than that. What has Jeff managed to do in such a short amount of time that takes most bloggers a year or two to accomplish? Let me tell you…
