The grand prize includes a new XBOX 360, but I think I’d rather have the second place prize which is either an iPod Touch or 3G iPhone…I don’t know which is the better prize. It’s time for another fantastical version of the Heads Up Seven Up Blogroll and have I found some interesting happenings in the Making Money Online world of blogging. I generally keep my nose out of issues that I have no clue about, but there’s something entertaining about two bloggers that are set to square off in a Making Money Online competition. There has been some speculation by Garry Conn that John Cow is nothing more than a scam artist, and the Cow has taken offense to these accusations so the two are preparing to square off and put their skills to the test. The details of the contest are still being ironed out, but a few folks are starting to chime in on their prospective favorite. I think the entire competition will be an overblown popularity contest…I’m not taking sides. Onto the blogroll…

I can’t believe it, but it seems like every blogger out there reads the story of the infamous John Chow and wants to be just like him. Some think it’s cool, others think it’s hilarious…me, I think it’s friggin’ lame. This is going to come as a surprise to my readers, but I think for today’s post I’m going to flip the switch to the dark side and it might get ugly. Fear not, the true GrandmasterB will return shortly.

I have only seen one spinoff of the John Chow idea that really impressed me and got my attention…John Cow. I mean how could it not get your attention? Taking a famous blogger’s name and turning it into a cow theme is hilarious and well done. Alas, I am not here to talk about John Cow, because quite frankly it’s not really a clone…it’s original. What I am here to talk about are the no talent hacks that somehow believe that they are the next great thing on the Net. Guess what clones (or should I say clowns?)…you’re not even close.
