For awhile now, I have contemplated doing a Q&A feature post that would address questions from my readers. I’ve been compiling some of the questions and answers that I think will help people out of a tight spot. These questions can be on any topic; from Photoshop questions to Wordpress issues, tutorial requests to general banter. Another week is in the bags and can you believe it July is already here. It seems like Summer is just flying by and I haven’t had much of an opportunity to enjoy it yet. Don’t worry about GrandmasterB though, I’ll be heading to Vegas next month with the wife for a weekend of rest, relaxation, drinking and some fine dining. Usually when the wife and I travel somewhere we try to hit a nice restaurant and I think this trip we’ll hit Bobby Flay’s restaraunt Mesa Grill at Caesar’s Palace. I’m a big fan of Southwestern cuisine and have a few of Bobby Flay’s cookbooks, so I’m sure it will be the restaurant of choice. Put a fine dinner together with a weekend away in sunny Las Vegas…sounds like paradise to me. Well, enough day dreaming let’s get to the review.

There is big and then there is BIG! I have always heard rumor of the junk in Kim Kardashian’s trunk, but honestly I had no idea there was that much…THAT’S A BIG ASS TRUNK! How her hind quarters got so inflated is beyond me, because her younger sister (pictured) Kourtney has a rockin’ little body.

I’m not sure what it is about these chicks or what it is that makes them “celebrities”, but I know one thing…they love to pose for the cameras. This picture just goes to prove my statement. You can see it in her eyes that she wants the world to see her big booty. Apparently, she knows it’s big and isn’t afraid to show it off.

I thought I knew BIG, but my definition is totally off from the the big that Kim Kardashian knows. My monthly numbers which weren’t all that bad; weren’t great either. I did see a big jump in my Alexa ranking and my Technorati numbers jumped up a bit too. The killer for the month of June seems to be the loss of 1200+ backlinks that were being tracked by Yahoo!. I’m not sure what happened there, but it didn’t seem to have a negative effect on the traffic.

Hey there readers! Hope you all had a great weekend. This past week was very exciting for GrandmasterB as I finally managed to get not one, but two of my tutorials published on Pixel2Life. I was beginning to wonder if it was ever going to happen, but it finally did and the results were amazing! I spent a great deal of time last week busting my hump at the office working on a new advertisement that will be appearing in the August issue of ACCESS DIRECTV. The ad was approved late last week and is already off to the publisher. Once I have a copy of the magazine in my hot little hands I will publish some pictures and let you all know where it appears.

Aside from all of the hullabaloo at the office, I spent some more quality time with the new MrPappagiorgio.com theme and I think that I have finally nailed down a solid look that is sure to impress. If time permits, I should be done within the next two weeks…that is if I don’t get carried away this Fourth of July weekend with the festivities. I’m also in the process of putting together a new tutorial to be published soon along with some Grunge RSS Feed Icons. Other than that it has been business as usual at GrandmasterB HQ. With all of the upcoming news out of the way…onto the review.

I am usually not too big on picking up graphic design magazines, because a lot of times they’re really not worth the price you pay. Another reason is that for some reason American magazine publishers don’t seem to put many out, that are very helpful. After seeing that one of my favorite design houses, Go Media was being featured in the latest issue of Advanced Photoshop Magazine I figured I would check it out.

I went over to the local Borders bookstore and after walking around the store for ten minutes (it’s a new store and it’s huge), I finally found the magazine rack. My first impression of the magazine was that it’s designed well and definitely gets the readers attention with the bright cover art. The other thing that caught my attention was the sticker price. Each issue of the magazine runs £6.00, but with the markup and the exchange rate it was $15.50 USD. I immediately thought “this magazine is going back on the rack for the next sucker”, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to give it a free browse in store.
