My Monday could not have started of better…let me tell ya! Just two days removed from the two month anniversary of GrandmasterB dot com, I have been spotlighted as the winner of the Weekly Buzz contest on BuzzMyBlog. I have been reading Jeff’s blog for a long time now as most of my readers know and being featured as the Weekly Buzz winner is a great honor.

The 500 EntreCard credits that Jeff gives the weekly winner is a great prize, but the feature on a blog with a Google PageRank of 4 is like icing on the cake. I am very excited about the traffic that winning this week will bring. I could not have been chosen at a better time either. Jeff just had a great guest post published on ProBlogger yesterday and it is being well received by the community. If you haven’t read it yet, you should definitely give it a look.

In honor of winning the WeeklyBuzz and keeping with the theme of what the contest is all about I’m going to do something to show my gratitude. What a weekend this has been for GrandmasterB. I’m completely wiped out from all of this weekend’s festivities. Last night my wife and I went downtown to see Brian Regan; who in my opinion is one of the funniest comedians around. The show was at the Paramount Theater in Downtown Denver; which in all of my years living in Denver I had never been to. The tickets I purchased online turned out to be less than stellar, but through a bit of luck we were moved up to better seats. Luck would have it they were filming the show for a new Comedy Central DVD and didn’t want any empty rows. You gotta love good karma! After the show we went to Pappadeaux for a late dinner. Not to go all John Chow on you, but I had a swordfish steak topped with mushrooms and crawfish tails and chased it all down with a Mango Mojito! Gotta say it was a great evening indeed…now, onto the blogroll.
