Week in Review (6/23 - 6/29)

This past week was very exciting for GrandmasterB as I finally managed to get not one, but two of my tutorials published on Pixel2Life. I was beginning to wonder if it was ever going to happen, but it finally did and the results were amazing! I spent a great deal of time last week busting my hump at the office working on a new advertisement that will be appearing in the August issue of ACCESS DIRECTV. The ad was approved late last week and is already off to the publisher. Once I have a copy of the magazine in my hot little hands I will publish some pictures and let you all know where it appears.
Aside from all of the hullabaloo at the office, I spent some more quality time with the new MrPappagiorgio.com theme and I think that I have finally nailed down a solid look that is sure to impress. If time permits, I should be done within the next two weeks…that is if I don’t get carried away this Fourth of July weekend with the festivities. I’m also in the process of putting together a new tutorial to be published soon along with some Grunge RSS Feed Icons. Other than that it has been business as usual at GrandmasterB HQ. With all of the upcoming news out of the way…onto the review.
June 23: Planet Green: Greensburg - I reviewed one of the best new shows out this Summer on Planet Green. The small town of Greensburg was destroyed by a class-5 tornado in May of 2007 and the town is rebuilding with sustainability in mind. Even if you’re not a “greenie” you should check this show out, you never know you might turn over a new “green” leaf.
June 24: What’s Your Bucket List? - After watching The Bucket List with Mrs. GrandmasterB, I posted the question: What would you like to do/accomplish before you “kick the bucket”?
June 24: Killer Metallic Text Tutorial Published on Pixel2Life - Two posts in one day? You got it, I couldn’t wait to tell my readers about being published on Pixel2Life. The results were amazing, bringing in almost 1000 pageviews from P2L last week…good times!
June 27: Advanced Photoshop Magazine - I picked up this magazine after reading about it on Go Media’s site and it was well worth the money spent.
June 29: WALL-E: Kid’s Movie or Environmental Message - This new Pixar movie didn’t disappoint and is definitely a “must see”. The movie has something for all viewers, young and old. I thing GrandmasterB will be seeing this in theaters again very soon.
